Leeds extended their unbeaten league run to five matches with a 2-0 victory over Bristol City at Ashton Gate and completed the double over City.
The Robins made a bright start to the match and fashioned the first meaningful chance of the game only for ex Scunthorpe striker Woolford to head over. Leeds were soon off the mark though when Snodgrass (who won his first cap for Scotland in Dublin on Wednesday night vs Northern Ireland) combined well with Gradel before finding himself space to slip the ball past James on seventeen minutes. United immediately went in search of a second and the impressive Snodgrass left fly with a 25-yard shot but James tipped the ball round the post.
