After the shock exit to non league Sutton United at the weekend Leeds got back on track moved to within a point of third-placed Reading after a hard fought win at Ewood Park. Chris Wood had the best chance of the first half but shot wide while Kemar Roofe headed over from a good position.
With seventeen minutes remaining Stuart Dallas broke the deadlock with a cool strike following a superb pass from Liam Bridcutt. This seemed to spur on United but they were caught out on 83 minutes when Elliott Bennett's shot from 20 yards bobbled over the out stretched arms of Rob Green in the Leeds goal.
