Leeds are back on top of the table for the first time since January 2010 when they topped League One and this was all the more pleasing as it was a dogged win. While playing well below recent standards it was an excellent three points and with Cardiff losing away to Preston it propelled The Whites to top of the table. Leeds resilience saw them extend their unbeaten start to the season to nine games, while goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald has kept clean sheets in each of his past six league games.
