Jacky Charlton has been rushed to hospital after falling down his stairs, and as a result breaking his hip. On behalf of the page, get well soon Jack! If you have just a minute percentage of that toughness you showed whilst wearing White, then you'll be out in no time! You great honourary Irish Man!

Not really a big fan of getting in free signings, there free for a reason. I never really rated Webber either. We might be able to get a few players off Portsmouth though the way things are going. Losing Townsend is a loss whatever went on behind closed doors,he said he never settled and then joined Birmingham!!? Delph is a loss too, hopefully we'll get a few loan players in soon. Tough game this weekend, Southampton are flying. It would be a great boost if they won. MOT

Leeds United have signed the versatile Danny Webber on a deal until the end of the season. The 30-year-old, who can play out wide or up front, was due to make his first appearance in a Leeds shirt in Tuesday's behind-closed-doors game against Middlesbrough. Webber has scored 50 goals in almost 250 career appearances and, after learning his trade at Manchester United, he had successful spells at both Watford and Sheffield United. The player also spent two seasons with Portsmouth and was a free agent after his contract expired at the south coast club last summer. Danny worked with United boss Neil Warnock during his time at Bramall Lane, and he also trained with the new manager at Queens Park Rangers earlier this season. The boss was keen to strengthen the wide attacking area following the unexpected departure of Andros Townsend last week and he said: "I know the player well and he'll be good to have around the place."

Good start to the Warnock reign, he has the experience and the credentials , only time will tell. there is very little difference in points and abilities among the first 10-12 clubs, a good run would put us into 6th place , lots of points to be won or lost before early May. It would be amazing if we did make it into the play offs considering the comings and goings of players and manager this season. As the Australians would say we will have to give this unlikely Bates -Warnock combination " A Fair Go"... Results will be the litmus test of Success!

Picture of Warnock and Bates meeting in public on the scratching shed on facebook. Looks like Warnock has got it. He is a prick but so is Bates so they will get on fine. Warnock is the only man with the right credentials for the job in fairness to him. A late surge for the play-offs hopefully, but very doubtful. MOT

7 MINUTES FOR 7 YEARS. The campaign starts NOW. Don't take your seat for the FIRST seven minutes of the SOUTHAMPTON game, live on Sky. We're sending a clear message to bates that we will NOT stand for his penny-pinching any more, selling all our best players to be replaced by freebies and loanees. Show the WORLD that we as Leeds fans can stand together and will not be bullied and slagged off by someone that does NOT have the best interests of LUFC at heart. SHARE THIS WITH EVERY LEEDS UNITED FAN ON YOUR FACEBOOK. WE'RE LEEDS UNITED, AND WE'VE HAD ENOUGH. MOT.

that bates is a pure wanker. Sack a manager mid season and turn round and give it to the u18 manager its warnock now or nothing because as far as i know he is still tying off legal issues with qpr so that could be the delay anyone other than him is a failure

I for one am glad he is gone.I understand that the real problem is with bates, but Grayson just wasn't good enough, alright when winning, but not a clue when we went behind.I mean how many times this year alone did we outplay teams in first half and get murdered in 2nd.Managers fault,no one else.I know bollicky sold most of our good palyers, but grayson should have resigned and exposed him for the rat he is,but if you read Basta Bates last interview,he said all transfers were okayed by manager, maybe lying but no respaonse from SG,we might find out the truth now that he's out of there. We can only hope that whoever comes in,will get the best out of the players left and give us a lift, although I cannot see too many wanting the job, don't be surprised if Wise is brought back.I will leave ye with a statistic I found on the internet this morning.MOT.STAT OF THE DAY: Leeds United sacked manager Simon Grayson yesterday following their 4-1 home defeat to Birmingham City. According to the statistics Grayson is the most successful boss in the club's history with a win rate of 62.7%, more than Don Revie (62.1%), David O'Leary (57.4%) or Howard Wilkinson (43.3%). But his record has been cultivated in the second and third tiers.
