Sorry to crash back again so soon. Just heard our beloved Chairmans interview with Ben fry on LUTV...The rats were really deserting the sinking ship. His theory on our 4-0 loss to Barnsley was so suprising to the board since the leeds wage bill was 8 million, and Barnsley was amere 4 million. With 6 centre backs at the club, and 6 strikers, and millions spent on players and wages etc, The people shouting for more money to be spent are talking through their arse...etc etc. With this theory of" Bateseconomics" as the rational for our current position around 10th. The new man is going to be a bit of a Paul Daniels to make Maradonas out of kids, loan signings and i would say some un motivated players. I wish him well, he is going to have to make miracles to get us up to the promised land, Because our Chairman still thinks we can get promotion this season, as he says look at all the money thats been spent!

So Grayson becomes the next excuse in a very long line of excuses that sit directly at Bates' door...although tactically naive at times...I dont think he is the #1 factor in the teams inability to deliver results this season...lack of investment in the team has surely got to be the #1 factor!!! Bates Out!!!

I suppose long Threatening comes at last, after some poor results this season particularly at elland rd, the inevitable bullet would come. SG had been skating on thin ice. I fear however it will not fix our problems in the long run. the higher echelons of power at the club have a different agenda to us the supporters, a good season to them is profit v loss, not points on the championship table or real progress for the future a la the approach adopted by go ahead clubs like norwich etc. I wish grayson well, his room for manoevre was v limited .I wish the new man well, i feel it may be a long struggle back whovever gets the job.
