In Leeds yesterday when Nugs rang me with the terrible news re Gary Speed. We had only discussed on Saturday night in The Marriott the possibility of Gary being the next Leeds manager. It's unreal to think he's gone at such a young age.And what a player,I don't think supporters of other teams had a bad word to say about Gary. He was your true team player, always gave 100% and was a huge loss to Leeds when he departed.Gone but not forgotten,Rest in Peace Gary.

Agree with everything Mick said, thoughts and prayers are with his family. Its an awful tragedy and with a wife and two kids left behind. A great servant to Leeds and football in general. RIP Gary Speed. MOT

My thoughts and prayers are wit Gary Speeds family at this sad time.Seen him yesterday on football focus wit Gary Mac talkin bout d old days wit Leeds an future of Welsh footie, even shared a joke bout d world cup qualifier draw against Scotland next year.A lot can happen in 18 hours that followed.R.I.P. Well Sunny, off to the sunnier clmate of Dubai,im sure you'll miss all those freezing winter nights aroung leeds, and you're great frineds from Ireland(thats us),sliding in the door at some unholy hour, only to demand more drink and a bit of quiet so that we could get the sing song going, and sure we were the only ones making noise!! I have to say you never let us down and were always a gentleman to deal with, you will be missed, but I hope you have a great time in Dubai.ON the field,as grayson himself said, that was one of our worst performances this season, but all that matters is the result,Alan might be right about the black strip, and maybe just maybe,we can look forward to a great season, looking forward to Friday morning anyway and the first of many deorums at about 6am in shannon airport!! Contact is Paul Mathers on :-pem@emirates.net.ae Might be a bit of craic to be had for live games if you get time off ! Just a thought....have fun ! Nugs

Hi everyone, got bit of news may i be d first to say congrats to Sarah Jowitt and her new fiance Paul Foster.Wish them many happiness in d future. Most lads wil know Sarah from our many visits and her visit to Ennis.

Stevo

Well said John, yeah, Sunny is a top geezer and will be missed by all and sundry associated with Ennislusc. last time I spoke to those lads, they reckoned they were coming over to see us, damn! I see Papa Smurf is turning up the heat on Si, if one is to believe what is coming up on the web lately. It would seem that Si thinks promo is on this year, and Ken expect's the same! It would be nice if he put his money where his gob is, and backs him to the hilt in Jan, if it's required. We'll see... As you all are well aware by now, we're not famous anymore, but we still seem to find ourselves on the box on a regular basis! MOT
