Ken Bates believes Jonny Howson will be out for months and not weeks while Leeds have no intention of selling Luciano Becchio to Middlesbrough. Whites captain Howson recently hobbled out of the club's 2-0 Championship win over Millwall, although no timescale had been put on his possible return. Manager Simon Grayson expressed his relief that Howson's injury could have been worse and that Leeds were fortunate he would play again this season. However, Elland Road supremo Bates has warned fans not to expect Howson back on the pitch anytime soon, stating he is likely to be out for at least two months if not longer.

Read in yhe paper the other day that Wolves and Blackburn are interested in signing Ross McCormack........

Shane Moroney

Good to see Alex McCarthy signing on for another month. He's done well since he joined on loan. He's not allowed play against Reading at the weekend though. MOT

Unbeleivable results the last two games. Can't believe it's more or less the same team that were so ridiculously bad against Barnsley.I think myself that they are fighting tooth and nail in memory of Gary Speed, which is great to see,but I hope they continue for the rest of the season. And if they could somehow get promoted, wouldnt it be a great way to honour his memory. The trip looks to be flying ahead with approx 20 booked already so far.AS for the cup,I think I agree with Marty,I can see Shane's point, but we need to be playing the biggest teams in the country,to see if we have progressed any bit from last year.Leon was on to me,and im game ball for a nice road trip to Ruan, after all,we always travel for the cup games, and we will be in Moroney's then for the rest of the year.Great to have it back, and I think Charlie got a real baptism of fire on the sunday night after the barnsley trip, with a great sing song, and great craic. He said to me at 3.30 in morning,"Slim is there any chance you'd go home, there's no one else here",sure I went, might as well break him in easy.Great draw for Irish as well,so promotion in April and then off to Poland to see us beat the European and World champions, the dreams, the dreams.MOT..

A fitting tribute to a great man Gary Speed RIP at the Millwall game,.His Spirit seems to be inspiring the players of late, remember seeing him play a great game down the wing against d Arsenal at the old Highbury 1993, hopefully he can inspire the current team as the lock horns their in the cup, b another great occasion. The club trip sounds great, love the team line out, with dom in goals ye wont go wrong

Rumours of a road trip to Ruan for the cup game. Amazing turnaround over the past week. The drivel we witnessed at Elland Rd. V Barnsley had to be seen to be believed. Since that weve beaten Forest 4 Nil & also beaten one of our numerous bogey teams fairly comfortably,I watched Wolves game yesterday the standard was as low as any Ist Division game, so I think Leeds would easily hold there own in the premiership....Onwards & Upwards.

I hear what you are saying shane, but im very happy with it.Lets face it we wont win the fa cup,so I for one rather go out hopefully in a blaze of glory against one of the big boys than limp out lamely to a team from a lower division e.g.hereford and histon!!great to have moroneys back open for hopefully a good few live games in the new year! And nugs id be a bad man to have on the bench like tevez i would refuse to warm up well thats the way it was last saturday til yourself and richie sorted me out with a few brandys!Fair emotional scenes at elland rd yesterday it would bring a tear to the eye seeing strong characters like strachan and batty unable to hold back the tears, lets hope we can push on now and seal promotion in memory of gary speed MOT
