I see the guestbook has gone very quiet, probably reflecting our woes on the pitch. We can forget about even a sniff of the playoffs now, just as well that we have enough points not to get dragged into relegation fight.Ah well, there's always next year. Our big day out with John Giles is on this Saturday 14/04/12 at Ennis Golf Club. There are still some slots left on the timesheet if anyone knows anybody interested in playing, and we still have room on the tee boxes for more sponsors if anyone can get em,30 a go.We are kicking off at 9.am on saturday morning and anyone who can call during the day,and maybe even give a hand with anything is more than welcome. The presentation of prizes with special guest J.Giles will start at approx.9pm Sat nite followed by a disco and finger food. And of course John Finn will be giving his usual fabulous oration by way of Introducing Mr.Giles, hope to see ye all there.MOT.

NEIL WARNOCK has opened contract talks with Robert Snodgrass, Ross McCormack and Adam Clayton in a bid to keep 12.5m worth of talent at Leeds.Skipper Snodgrass, 24, leading scorer McCormack, 25, and midfielder Clayton, 23, are all entering the final year of their deals. But boss Neil Warnock fears the trio could be tempted away from Elland Road in the close season. He said: I want to get an initial reaction from all of themI dont like leaving stuff like that until the summer. There are certain things that should be put to bed as soon as

FOUND THIS ON A LEEDS RUMOURS WEBSITE. 23 Mar 2012 13:15:15 from a poster on Yorkshire Evening Post at Warnocks Q&A night ; I was at the dinner with Warnock at Elland Road last night where most of the information in this article comes from, he was very honest and forthright and answered all the questions from the floor without batting anything back. He's clearly not happy with the squad he's inherited, it's too big and distinctly average. Without naming any names, he's been disappointed with the attitude of certain players and he clearly feels that certain players in the squad won't run through walls and, using his words, have been cheating him and us. He has already identified four players he wants to bring in and said all of them will cost a fee, he thought he'd landed two yesterday but they didn't happen although at least one of them has already agreed to join in principle during the summer. He also said players will leave that will leave him open to criticism from the fans but that will enable him to bring his own players in but he made a point of saying that Snodgrass and Becchio were the type of players he wanted to build his team around, he also said that he's already told Ken what needs to be spent and if he felt at any time he wasn't getting the support he wanted from the club then he would walk. Interestingly he also said the budget he's working with is bigger than at any club he's ever managed. All in all I don't think there is any doubt he is desperate to succeed and I'm absolutely convinced from what he said last night he is 100% confident that the club will back him in what he wants and to that end I just think we've got to trust him and believe that he's 100% the best man for the job even if we end up not agreeing with some of his future decisions.

Mr President

Howdy boys, shambles the other night, don't even want to talk about it.Just wanted to remind everyone of another huge day coming up in the life of the club.Saturday 14-April-2012,Mr John Giles will be joining us at Ennis golf club for the 2nd Mike Mac golf classic. We have a committe formed to organise this event but any and all help would be more than welcome. We are particularly looking for sponsorship and teams to play in the classic itself.Tee boxes can be sponsored at a very reasonable 30 a pop,and a team of four costs 120,if any of ye can get sponsors, that would be great.Anyone who gets a team, and and wants to book a tee time, contact me,nugs or johnny, and we'll sort it out and keep track of it.Needless to say,I would also expect a good turnout of members on the day,for those not playing, there will be plenty to be done,so the more the merrier, thanks for all ye're help as always.MOT.
