How do lads ! Takeover seems imminent - hope these are serious money men whoever they are. Either way, I preusme we'll be planning a visit to ER for later this year. As usual the fixture list is not hectic. Had a quick look and think Brum on Oct 27 or Palace on Nov 24 look most suitable. Flights will again be the issue though and options are same as last season I think. For Brum we could fly SNN/LPL on Friday at 16.10 and would have to come back from B'ham with Aer Lingus. It's an afternoon flight so would be nice. approx 120 rtn right now. It's a thought. Whaddya think lads ? MOT Nugs

A CLUB STATEMENT ON INVESTMENT 26 Jun 2012 Due dilligence process to be undertaken... Further to our previous statement of the 29th May, Leeds United can confirm they have granted an exclusivity period to enable a potential investor to carry out the appropriate due diligence. It is anticipated this will be a fairly straightforward process. A confidentiality clause prevents the club from making any further comment. However, our discussions with them have left us very comfortable that they have the financial resources to support the club and that they will have no issues in satisfying the requirements of the Football League's Owners and Directors Test, unlike many of the previous approaches we have had to endure. We will not be making any further announcements in the near future.

i would say ye boys are on the wrong website, or lost in cyberspace. Good to hear a couple of additions to the squad, Drury and Green should help the cause,Paddy Kenny too seems to be lined up. Disappointed to hear McCormack with 19 goals last term could be off to Huddersfield, it is reported cant agree terms. If thats the case we would need astriker up alongside Becchio who could hit around 20 goals a season. There will be a lot more Chess played in that transfer market before the season begins.

The proposed takeover of Leeds United is still on track. Yorkshire Post journalist Richard Sutcliffe tweeted that Warnock is looking to sign his third player very soon a Bosman, due to the takeover not done yet. The YEPs Phil Hay has written today that: Talks are at a delicate but advanced stage and edging towards a conclusion. After missing out on high priority signings this Summer, Neil Warnock was believed to have threatened to walk without the promised transfer funds. Warnock met up with current chairman Ken Bates last Wednesday, and said: Me and Shaun Harvey worked late into the night on Monday to make the deal with Adam happen. Warnock also talked to club-owned Yorkshire Radio, saying: Down in the Westcountry well be training morning, afternoon, and playing at night. Its not like just a few games and a jolly its going to be hard work down there. It would be nice to get the majority of players in [before then] and Im hoping that can soon happen. Meanwhile, Adam Drury has told the Official Site of his excitement at the big things ahead: Im excited about what Im coming into, and I cant wait to get going. I had a few options, there was some interest and I could have gone abroad, but with what could happen here its a massive pull and I want to be a part of it. Obviously with the manager and what hes looking achieve here, I want to be a part of it. After Id met him and spoke to him, and the way he sold the clubtheres obviously big things ahead. This is a great opportunity for me at this stage of my career and I want to be a part of it. Hes not going to settle for second best and he expects to be challenging, and hes looking to bring others in, and Im just glad to be a part of that.
