Well it had to be Henry that scored the winner last night, some things are just meant to be. On the positive side it was a spirited performance by Leeds with a relatively young team out. Snoddy is a big loss to us and Becchio seems to have lost his scoring touch and is regularly substituted. Will we kick on from here is the question? No more distractions for us only the league but with Howson and Snoddy missing for some time yet we need reinforcements in midfield if we are to be realistic about a top six finish. Time will tell. I'm a big Simon Grayson fan, he supported, played and now manages Leeds but even I see something's just not right there for quite awhile now. I'd hate to see him sacked but today's win over Burnley is only "papering over the cracks" we badly need one or two decent players to strenghten a squad and get a proper team line-up for the rest of the season. Townsend seems to be a start in the right direction anyway....Happy New Year to all..... MOT!!!

I agree with the sentiments of all the boys re the Barnsley match, The old saying "If you dont have horses, you have to plough with Asses". With the calibre of players at Graysons disposal the have done remarkably well, you can only shuffle the deck chairs on the titanic for so long, no consistency at the back or up front, the combinations are like bingo numbers, you never know which ones will come out of the tunnel, McCormack has been semi frozen out,Nunez looks lively and inventive, but rarely gets a look in. Grayson is a diplomatic kind of a guy , but i feel he is of late being eroded by a lack of self confidence, indecisiveness, and frustration as his hands are proverbially tied by the higher echelons at boardroom level, where our real malaise lies. All that said we will possibly true to form pick up a few has beings in the bargain basement loan sale in january....Anyway hopefully we get the points today against Burnley!

What a crap result today! There's big rumors going around that Roberto Di Matteo is being lined up to be the next manager and Grayson is getting the sack. I don't really want to get on Grayson's back cause he hasn't done a bad job. He's got us promoted and we're mid-table,in fairness he's hands are tied with Bates given him no money. But he doesn't seem to be getting the best out of the team, most of his signings have been crap and the defence is as bad as ever. I wouldn't call any of our defenders good. He changes the team constantly too. Grayson only seems to sign loanee's and has beens who other teams don't want,O'Dea , O'Brien, Brown to name but a few. Other players like Forsell, he signs and never plays. Even Nunez is lively and meant to have had a good game today but never gets a look in and don't get me started on Rachubka. He wastes money on bad signings. We need to sort out the defence and get a holding mid-fielder in January. We have enough good strikers we just need to keep them fit and scoring. Hopefully this bad run stops and 2012 brings us a bit of consistency and players. Happy New Year to all of ye and I'll see ye in Moroneys for the Arsenal game in the cup. MOT

I see Bristol City are interested in Andy O'Brien. We should give them O'Brien and ask how much more for Nicky Maynard. You can never have enough quality strikers :-) He'd do a good job for us. Hopefully we beat Derby on St.Stephens day and make it a good Xmas. Happy Xmas to all of ye and see ye all in the New Year. MOT
