Well now, that was a very enjoyable AGM last night. For those that didn't make it and to recap for those that did, here are just a few key points. We decided that the official club trip will be on 21st of November versus Rotherham. We are flying from Dublin in the Friday at 4ish I think and back on Sunday morning at 11ish. We are organising a bus (K.Barry) to bring us directly to the airport on Friday morning and he will be waiting for us when we land on Sunday morning. The bus the last time cost a lot per head as a lot of people pulled out and therefore it was decided that if travelling on the bus, please post on here and leave an envelope with your name and �30.00 deposit (non-refundable) into Moroneys for Johnny or Myself before 14th September. The bus is limited to 16 and if we can get 16 names asap Nugs reckons we might be able to do a deal on flights. Anyone else travelling, that requires accommodation, please post on here as well asap so that the lads can get on to the hotels and get us a good deal. Tommy Kelly is our new president for the coming year with Liam Jones coming in as vice president. We started this club over a pint at Christmas in 2000 and since our first meeting in January 2001, Paul "Nuggy" Nihill has been our secretary. In a surprise move last night (think he even surprised himself a bit), nugser decided to step down and he has handed over to the younger generation, our best wishes and of course our full support to Mikey Jones.. On a personal level, I cannot speak highly enough of Nugs role in the club, between flights, hotels, match tickets..etc.. he has been unbelievable and will be sorely missed, but im sure he will be available to Mikey in a consultancy basis. I hope I have covered every thing and if I forgot any thing feel free to put it up here. Here's looking forward to a good season and maybe a few sessions along the way...MOT..

Over at the recent Burnley match, johnnys match report spot on a game we could have won. The performance was very good ,played some really nice football,finishing let us down , also I feel a little short of pace in central defence, pity an ex-Leeds player turned us over,statistically you are most vulnerable to concede within 5mins of scoring, and so it would prove to be the case, we switched off, belusci, never left the ground for vokes header, Boyd allowed to stroll down the right wing. A lot of good things all the young guns byram , mwatt and cook excellent, byram in particular is really premiership class, need to keep these guys and sign one or two more before the window closes ideally. Dare we dream,we have to be better than last season 15th!

4 times on telly in August quality stuff,were not famous anymore!!plenty of occasions for us to discuss trips for later in the season!!!will be some craic in Galway the Saturday of Jims stag with the mighty whites live at 12 30 in the afternoon!gutted I can't go!
